Liability for content
Our website content has been created with the utmost care. We are unable, however, to offer any guarantee that this content is accurate, complete or up to date. Pursuant to § 7 (1) of the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz, TMG), as a service provider we are responsible under general law for our own content on this site. However, pursuant to §§ 8 to 10 of the TMG, as a service provider we are under no obligation to monitor transferred or saved information of third-party origin or to search for circumstances that may suggest unlawful activity. This shall not affect obligations under general law to remove or block the use of information. Any liability in this respect is, however, only incurred from the time we become aware of a specific infringement. On becoming aware of such infringements, we will remove this content promptly.
Liability for links
Our site contains links to external third-party websites, the content of which we have no influence over. We are therefore unable to accept any liability for this third-party content. The relevant provider or operator is always responsible for the content of linked sites. These sites were checked for possible statutory violations at the time of linking. No illegal content was in evidence at the time of linking. However, permanent monitoring of the content of linked sites cannot reasonably be expected without any specific indication of an infringement. If we become aware of infringements, we will remove such links promptly.
The content and material compiled by the website operator on this site are subject to German copyright law. Reproduction, editing, dissemination and any utilisation outside the limits of copyright require the written consent of the relevant author or compiler. Downloads and copies of this site shall only be permitted for private use and not for commercial purposes. Third-party copyrights will be respected for any content of this website that has not been compiled by the operator. In particular, third-party content will be identified as such. If you nevertheless have reason to believe that a violation of copyright has occurred, we request that you notify us accordingly. On becoming aware of infringements, we will remove such content promptly.
The K 1 Hotel shall retain all rights, including to create photomechanical renderings, to reproduce and disseminate, including in part, using specific processes (such as data processing, data storage devices, data networks). The K1 Hotel assumes no liability for any typographical errors and does not provide any guarantee as to the accuracy of records.
We hereby expressly point out that the designations, trademarks, logos and brand names mentioned and shown on this website are the property of the corresponding companies and/or persons, and are subject to copyright.
The internet functions as a decentralised network system, with temporary data placed into interim storage and transferred. It is therefore not currently possible to provide a guarantee that manipulation or accidental falsification is ruled out and that only up-to-date data (e.g. old versions still cached) is used on the communication path from the provider to users. We would therefore like to point out a systematic limitation, which is that you shall receive this data under the conditions of the internet. It follows that no guarantee can be made as to the information’s accuracy or its consistency with the original data.
New duties for online traders to provide information
The main aim of the ODR regulation is to create an online dispute resolution platform (ODR platform) at EU level. The ODR platform is intended to create a point of contact for consumers and traders seeking to resolve disputes out of court that have arisen from online transactions. For this purpose, complaints should be passed on via the platform to the national mediating body responsible for the relevant dispute. Offline contracts are not covered by this regulation.
In its judgment dated 12 May 1998, the Regional Court of Hamburg ruled that joint responsibility for the content of a linked site may also lie with the party who sets up the link. According to the Regional Court, this can only be prevented if the party expressly distances itself from such content. We have set up links to other sites on the internet. With regard to all such links, we would like to stress that we have no influence whatsoever on the content or layout of these linked sites. We therefore hereby expressly distance ourselves from all content on all sites linked to our webpages. We do not adopt the content of such sites as our own. This declaration applies to all links placed on our webpages and to the content of all sites that these links lead to.
