Hygiene – more than the legal requirements

We not only protect our guests by complying with the legally prescribed hygiene measures, but also by using our own air purifiers, which provide the best possible protection against aerosols. You will find the air purifiers in the guest rooms and in the breakfast room.

We live sustainability – 100% regional

Our K1 Hotel power breakfast includes regional meat and sausage products from “Waldecker Fleischwaren Saure”, based in our neighbouring village in Willingen. We have also converted our entire fresh meat supply chain to 100% regionally sourced products. One of our important regional meat product partners is the family-owned company Helwig from Schwalmstadt with its “Schwälmer Landfleisch” brand. We see local products as an investment in our quality, sustainability and guest experience, starting with breakfast. Bon appétit!

Sustainable coffee in the premium rooms

Our premium rooms feature capsule coffee machines equipped with sustainable coffee capsules. After all, we are convinced that sustainability and convenience need not contradict each other.

100% green electricity in the hotel and for your e-car

Since 2020, our entire hotel has been supplied with electricity from “Energie Waldeck-Frankenberg” which is 100% ecologically generated by sustainable hydropower plants. If you use your e-car to visit us, we offer you access to our 11KW wallbox for a fee to conveniently charge your car with green electricity.
